SIAL Network shows in China, Indonesia and Malaysia poised for even stronger showing in 2024.
On November 21st and 30th, 2023, enthusiastic industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders in the food and beverage industry gathered for the special SIAL Asia Pacific 2024 Events Pre-Launch in Malaysia and Thailand.
These events, offering a sneak peek into what awaits at the SIAL Asia Pacific 2024 shows including SIAL China, SIAL Interfood Indonesia, and Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL, witnessed an outstanding turnout, marking them as resounding successes. Co-organized in collaboration with SIAL China and SIAL Interfood Indonesia, the pre-launch events set the stage for the industry's future.
At the Malaysia event, Henri Tan, Exhibition Director of South East Asia Comexposium, expressed, "Our goal is to pioneer innovations within the food and beverage industry and inspire food business across Asia Pacific. The pre-launch event aims to offer industry traders a preview of the future, enabling them to strategically position their brands in both local and international markets."
The event held in Malaysia drew over 100 attendees from various sectors, including past and potential exhibitors of Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL. Notable organizations present included the Malaysian Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (MACEOS), the Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC), the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur's Office of Commercial Counsellor, the Iran-Asean Business Council (IABC), and the Small and Medium Enterprises Association (SAMENTA).
Simultaneously, the pre-launch in Thailand attracted prominent industry professionals, including the Food and Beverage Management Association, Department of Agricultural Extension, Department of Industrial Promotion, Department of International Trade Promotion, Food Focus Thailand, Food Innopolis, NSTDA, and the Thai Beverage Industry Association.
The concurrent events in Malaysia and Thailand provided a dynamic platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas.
