Exhibition Director, Southeast Asia and SIAL Sales Director, APAC at SIAL Network

Henri Tan is a regional exhibition and business events leader with more than 25 years of experience across the food & beverage, hospitality, and international trade exhibition industries in Asia Pacific. 

Currently serving as Exhibition Director, Southeast Asia and SIAL Sales Director, APAC at SIAL Network under Comexposium, Henri plays a strategic role in expanding and strengthening the SIAL Network’s presence across ASEAN and the wider Asia Pacific region. He leads the development and growth of major industry platforms including Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL, SIAL Interfood Indonesia, and SIAL Vietnam, connecting international brands, buyers, distributors, industry associations, and government stakeholders across the region. 

Recognised for his strong regional market knowledge and industry network, Henri has been instrumental in building strategic partnerships and driving market expansion initiatives throughout Southeast Asia. His work focuses on positioning ASEAN as one of the world’s most dynamic growth regions for food innovation, trade, manufacturing, hospitality, and foodservice industries. 

Beyond exhibitions, Henri is actively involved in industry development initiatives, culinary platforms, and business innovation ecosystems. He serves as Senior Tournament Deputy Chairman of the Global Culinary Challenge Malaysia and is also a Member of the Advisory Board & Mentor Network at Impact Circle Ventures Network, where he contributes industry insights, strategic guidance, and regional market perspectives to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable business growth. 

Henri is actively engaged in conversations surrounding agrifood innovation, food security, sustainability, investment ecosystems, and regional trade development. Through his leadership and industry engagement, he continues to champion ASEAN’s role as a key global hub for food business, innovation, and cross-border market opportunities.
