aT Korea Showcases Premium K-Food and Innovation at FDM2025

The Korean Pavilion at Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL 2025 (FDM2025) promises to be one of the most vibrant and flavourful experiences at this year’s tradeshow, thanks to the presence of aT Korea, also known as the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation. Represented by its Kuala Lumpur branch, aT Korea is on a mission to share the excellence of Korean food with the world, and FDM2025 is a key platform to do just that.
At FDM2025, aT Korea will unveil a rich selection of premium Korean foods that reflect the country’s heritage, health consciousness, and modern innovation. Visitors can look forward to iconic staples like kimchi, gochujang (Korean chili paste), and ginseng, as well as wellness- oriented snacks made from grains and seaweed, plus fresh fruits such as grapes and strawberries. These selections cater to Malaysia’s growing appetite for nutritious, high-quality international foods.
But it’s more than just a tasting session, a live cooking show at the Korean Pavilion will let visitors see, smell, and taste K-Food in action. Attendees will witness how traditional ingredients are prepared and enjoy freshly made samples on the spot, making it a deliciously immersive experience.

“Korean food has found enthusiastic fans throughout Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Riding the momentum of global K-culture through K-pop, K-dramas, and more local consumers are increasingly seeking authentic and health-focused Korean products. The region especially appreciates Korea’s commitment to quality and stringent safety standards.” shared Mr Choi Hwangho, Deputy Director of aT Center Kuala Lumpur.
At FDM2024, aT Korea achieved export consultation results totaling USD 17 million, with participation from 21 companies. The Korean pavilion showcased representative K-foods popular in Malaysia, such as strawberries, ginseng, health functional foods, and kimchi, drawing the attention of buyers who visited the site.
This year, aT Korea is particularly excited to highlight the innovative side of Korean food, tailored to today’s health-conscious and trend-savvy consumers. Whether it’s new product formats or functional wellness ingredients, K-Food is evolving and FDM2025 is the perfect place to see this evolution firsthand.
For aT Korea, the tradeshow is more than an exhibition, it’s a gateway to new business. The team aims to facilitate over 100 business meetings and sign more than 10 MOUs during the event. Their mission is clear: connect with local buyers, foster long-term partnerships, and continue expanding Korean food’s footprint in the Malaysian market.
As the Deputy Director warmly puts it, “To everyone planning to visit the Korean Pavilion, please come and experience the taste and quality of K-Food for yourself. We really hope you enjoy your time with us. Thank you and terima kasih!”
